Thus ends the short, unspectacular life of BEAST WARS: Animated...at least for now.

I should have known going in (and probably did) that this wasn't going to fly. This project was incredibly ambitious, especially for someone who is not really a visual artist. I have the terrible combination of O.C.D. and a lack of discipline. If you look at PAGE ONE, you'll notice that each leaf is carefully placed -- what you see took me hours. With PAGE THREE, I thought screen-captures would save me time on recapping backstory. That took me days. There is no way I'd ever finish or even make a dent in an ongoing series.

I went from scripting one-page Mosaics to co-writing a one-shot (BEAST WARS: Second Chances) to self-producing an ongoing comic. It seems like there's a couple of steps missing, huh? Yeah.

Unfortunately, the bible I developed for BEAST WARS: Animated will have to stay locked in my head for the time being. Maybe someday it will see the light of day because, like I said, there are stories to be told.

In the meantime, I've shifted gears back to writing. I've already finished a script for a Transformers Animated one-shot that I'm really excited about. I'm searching for the right artist to produce it. Hopefully, you'll be on the lookout for it.
